Voices from Nagham (concert)

With this performance, the Nagham choir takes you on a journey from Groningen to the Middle East (Turkey, Iran, Syria, Lebanon, and Palestine), making a stop in North Africa (Tunisia and Sudan). The journey ends in the Netherlands.

The choir creates an inclusive and harmonious atmosphere by bringing together musical traditions. There will also be songs sung in Dutch, but in a surprisingly new musical arrangement. Their versatility demonstrates how music connects us, regardless of the language someone speaks. Although not every choir member speaks Dutch, they all share the same passion: the universal language of music. With every note and every song, they tell their own story.
