In this workshop we will be reusing used textiles as crochet yarn. We will be cutting up old T-shirts and jeans into yarn and more reusable textiles will be present. 

Once you've gathered your materials in the desired colors and textures, you'll learn the basic crochet stitches (chain stitch, single crochet, double crochet). Then we'll dive into freeform crochet: we won’t follow a pattern, but you will follow your intuition! With different materials offering variety in texture and color, you determine the course of your own crochet journey. Our instructor, Iza, will of course help you out if you get stuck!

The workshop is focused on sustainability and the creative process, therefore we are not working towards a ready-made final product. However, should you wish to do so, there is the opportunity to do so. This workshop is for beginners. But you are also welcome if you have crocheted before, because free form crochet is a new discovery every time!
