What happens when you give young people with a migration background the space to talk about equality and teach them to tell their stories through theatre? You'll find out on Thursday 11 July at De Steeg.
Starting at 17:00, you’ll get to know the Falafull Project and meet the young participants who have been involved over the past few months. Through a playback theatre* performance, they share their own stories and maybe even yours.
Falafull Project
The Falafull Project was initiated by Ani Younes and Hani Alsalhani. They brought together a group of young people with roots in Syria, Egypt, and Palestine. In a series of workshops, participants explored topics such as gender equality, women’s rights, and playback theatre.
In a safe and open environment, they shared experiences, learned from one another, and discovered how to turn personal stories into theatre. The project created space for dialogue, reflection, and growth. Now, it’s time to share that with an audience.
