The human voice is your own unique instrument. And you can do a lot with that instrument, especially in a group! Do you love to sing and do you want to sing together in a choir? At VRIJDAG we have choirs for all ages and every level. You can choose from different types of choirs, such as a pop choir, children's choir, youth choir, senior choir, women's choir... you name it! And whether you're just starting out or have been singing for a while, there's always a choir for you. We also offer individual singing lessons, both light and classical.
All our choirs are led by an experienced conductor who regularly takes the stage with his or her choir. He or she teaches you to develop your voice and sing together. You learn the intricacies of choral singing from real executive conductors. But above all, singing in a choir is just fun and cozy! Not sure what you're looking for or what to expect? The first lesson is without obligation. You can cancel free of charge within three days of your first lesson. This does not apply to short courses (≤8 lessons).
In addition, there are many bands, ensembles, choirs and orchestras within VRIJDAG that you can participate in as a singer. Making music together with others is not only fun, but also educational. You are challenged to listen carefully to each other and to dare to solo. Will we soon see you as a new choir member at one of our choirs in Groningen?
