Ceramics Summer Workshop
This is a three-day workshop; you are signing up for August 27, 28, and 29.
Are you interested in Ceramics and do you have some free time this summer? Join us for a 3 day summer course.
You will learn all the basics of throwing on the wheel. We will use the 7 step method using an exemple model to follow. 1. clay prep wedging, 2. centering, 3. opening, 4. Collaring, 5. Lifting, 6. Shaping, 7. Removal from the wheel. Sounds easy right? Let’s find out!
You’re also very welcome if you have a little experience, we will start from the beginning but are always welcome.
Each day will be a combination of demonstrations & individual help or needs. After the 3 day workshop we will host a separate glazing session, in which you will learn about glazing & the options for your piece of work. This glazing session will be on Saturday September 20th from 10.00-13.00 o’clock.
