The name says it all; the flute is a flute that you place transversely to your lips. So you are, as it were, playing to the side. The sound is clear and soft and high; only the piccolo is even higher. Classical music is often played on the flute, but the flute can also easily participate in jazz and pop.

Do you want to learn how to play the viola da gamba? You can do that at VRIJDAG. You will be taught by enthusiastic and experienced teachers and, if you wish, you can play in one of our ensembles or orchestras.
